Situation

HUI has and continues to provide Arrowhead Conveyor with components to manufacture a new product line for the food and beverage industry. This product line handles empty PET bottles at rates exceeding 1200 bottles per minute. The product line was developed by Arrowhead Conveyor and most components exceeded their internal fabrication capabilities.

• Low volumes and a wide range of parts
• Lead times witch required delivery of parts in 8 days or less
• Extensive welding and fixture requirements
• Specialized tooling
• European drawings

• Creation of weldments and product families vs individual parts
• Translation of European drawings to Solidworks models
• Minimized inventory levels by delivering based on the build schedule
