Our fabrication floor has a cross-functional team structure. This, combined with the implementation of LEAN principles, helps us to deliver on short lead times while maintaining a high standard of quality.
What this means is that instead of having all like machines grouped together, each cell has its own turret punch, laser cutter, forming station and a welding area where we conduct complex weldments.
Our fabrication cells are organized in a way that maximizes product flow from the laser through to shipment. The machines in the cells are placed strategically to minimize time lost in transporting parts from one work center to the next.
