HUI Manufacturing employees raised over $600 to help support the Calumet County Salvation Army Bread of Life Assistance Center. Over 75 employees participated in a holiday-themed fundraiser between Thanksgiving and the first week of December. Community outreach team member April Wasmer visited the Chilton office of the Salvation Army to hand over the check to assistance center director John Kost.

HUI Manufacturing announces staffing transitions this week that will support the continued growth of the Kiel-based contract manufacturer. Mike Schwarz will be moving to the role of Director of Operations, while Tim Jandrey will be moving to a new role supporting the company’s Medical Business Division as the Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs.

HUI would like to recognize Fond du Lac’s robotics team, Fondy Fire 2194 for an outstanding robotics season. Some of their season highlights include taking first place out of 54 teams at a regional competition earlier this spring and completing their season as semifinalists at the World Championship in St. Louis.

Today HUI had the pleasure of providing a tour for Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and State Representative Tyler Vorpagel of the 27th Assembly District. Our discussions focused on HUI’s unique team-based culture and our ongoing hiring needs. During the tour, Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch had the opportunity to experience our manufacturing facility and speak with several of HUI’s Team Members.
HUI would like to congratulate the Kiel and New Holstein First Robotics Team for winning the “Rookie Allstar” award at the Regional Competition in Milwaukee.
Competing at this conference were 60 other teams from throughout Wisconsin. The Kiel and New Holstein Team also known as the “Bond Brigade” was one of three rookie teams competing for Rookie All-Star.

KIEL – The recession hit HUI Manufacturing, but an economic rebound has the business poised for growth.
"When your business is growing, you need to have the people to meet the demand," said Nick Rolf, market development director at HUI, a custom manufacturer specializing in sheet metal production of industrial products and medical carts. "We are going to be hiring anywhere between eight to 12 people over the course of the next year."
